Established over 40 years ago, L&M Dowling is a popular lockup newsagent in Withernsea, East Yorkshire. The business was placed on the market due to our clients wishes to retire.

Generating a weekly turnover in the region of £4,400, the business has the added bonus of a prime position for footfall with the main stake of the business derived from the sale of newspapers and magazines, confectionary, a range of groceries and convenience items and occasion cards.

The business is located in the heart of Withensea in East Yorkshire. The premises are in a prime location just outside the town centre and boast a great location for passing trade. A large residential area is surrounding the business creating extra footfall and passing trade.

L & M Dowling was purchased by private buyers Keith and Alison Dracup, who intend to run the business themselves and increase trading capacity and weekly turnover. The business was sold to the current owners neighbours and our clients decided to use Knightsbridge’s services due to the appeal of the all inclusive legal fees.
