The company was offered up to the market by the owners in order to pursue other business interests and the £430,000 deal was completed in August 2014, less than a month after being agreed after or clients opted to use our partner solicitors, Gateleys.
The acquirer, Care Management Group Ltd (CMG), is a £47 million turnover residential care provider for people with learning disabilities and other special needs. The company offers a school for children with severe disabilities and several day-care centres for adults with learning difficulties in the United Kingdom.
In addition to moderate to severe learning disabilities, the company provides secondary diagnoses for complex requirements such as mental health issues, physical disabilities, challenging behaviour and autistic spectrum disorders.
Gemma Moss of Knightsbridge negotiated the deal on behalf of our clients and commented, “I am delighted that the deal was completed so soon after being agreed. Care Management Group purchased Share and Care as a bolt-on to add to their continually expanding business operations as they seek to complete even more acquisitions in the future.”
