Terminal 1 operates in a very niche market, offering a range of indoor and outdoor skate and BMX facilities. Despite only opening in late 2011, the business has already developed a very large client base which stretches across the UK and attracted over 38,000 visitors in its first year of operating. On top of its local success, the park has become known nationwide, with the staff taking part in community projects all over the country. With a strong social media presence and a large amount of revenue from track side sponsorship, the profile of the business is constantly growing.Operating from a substantial site just outside of Melton Mowbray town centre, the business is easily accessible from the M1 and lies just between the two major cities of Nottingham and Leicester.
Our clients decided to sell the business due to their need to make time to concentrate on other work commitments. The acquirer, Samuel Thorne of project Skatepark, purchased the business in order to expand their operations.
