2 years ago, Happy Daze Play and Party, an Indoor Activity Centre in Darwen,
Lancashire, operates from substantial, well equipped premises with strong
branding. There is an impressive multi tiered play frame and a smaller soft
play area aimed at toddlers. The business also boasts a café serving hot and
cold food options, and can cater for parties and other events throughout the
year. This highly profitable business, with an excellent reputation, attracted a good level of interest throughout its time on the market, before catching the eye of Ian Derbyshire, who owns a company in the same industry called Run Around.
Seeing the huge scope for growth and development, and an excellent addition to his existing portfolio, Ian acquired the business in October 2012, in a deal handled by sales negotiator Leanne Boulding on the Knightsbridge team. Ian will retain the existing staff and run the business under management, enabling the vendor to move on to focus on other interests.
