The Tavern Company (UK) Ltd in Liverpool city centre has been sold to a new owner. The buyer, Chris Hamblin already operates a successful restaurant in the city and has added the Tavern to his portfolio.Originally established in 2001, the restaurant offers authentic American and Mexican cuisine and is located just a short walk from Penny Lane. Offering a cosy, warm, candle-lit atmosphere the business proved highly popular with potential buyers and the sale was completed quickly once Mr Hamblin's offer was accepted.
